Perfect, answers my question as to why one of my garage doors moves faster than the other. One piece solid wood door. Prefer it if it moved slower. I'll just move the limit switches.

My Genie Excelerator is 3 years old and will not open the door completely. It raises the door 2-4 feet depending on the try, but it will eventually open the door completely. Do you have any suggestions?

I ordered A carrier on 8/24/06 And as of today 9/13/06 We Have not rec'd it. We have called numorous times the last on 9/12/96 with no resolution. Opener still not working. The last call we were hung up on. We will cancel and go with another vendor.

My Genie excelerator bolt drive door opener was acting very irratically. I phoned Genie and told them that my GDO was sometimes very slow (would almost come to a stop) and then at other times is very very fast. They said it is my Controller board and are sending me a new one.

the door function is perfect but wow, the lights come on at random times and either shut off or never turn off, constantly on and off. any help??

I have a genie pro max. I have been trying to close the door all the way down but it wont go. When I release the door from the track the door goes down and nothing is in it's way. What can my problem be? I also hear the chain moving in both directions. I am stummped..PLEASE HELP THANKS FOR YOUR HELP..DENNIS

I've got the same problem as roel escobar. The light on my GDO will turn on and off at random times. Normally, if I hit the button on the wall to turn the light on/off, it words, except tonight. The I could hear the circuit opening and closing, but no light. This was after it turned itself on then off. Anyone know what causes the random on/off of the lights?

The Genie Excelerator is 2 yeares old. Door stops while opening. I have set open pressure to the max. Door still stops many times. What next to check of fix?
