Short in the safety beam sensor wiring

Replace wiring to safety beam sensors to troubleshoot. Upgrade from 22 guage wiring to 16 guage. Cold temperatures can affect the wiring and cause a short. Lower guage wiring is thicker. Check for pinches, frays, or cuts in the wiring that can also short the wiring. Stapling the wiring is a common cause for shorts because it cuts through the plastic coat of the wiring and shorts the system.
